Do you have a QNAP NAS, do you think? If you’re in the legal ownership of an Android-based device or IOS, you’ll soon be streaming your dusty Boyz II Men and / or Our Lady Peace jam straight from your network. In recent months, the outfit released QMobile apps for both Android and IOS, making everything from Google’s Nexus One on iPod touch from Apple iPad and iPhone remote stream pictures, music and videos while their NAS’s online (and connected to a half decent broadband line). The app is said to be working fine via 3G or WiFi, and there’s even a My Jukebox feature which essentially acts as a shuffle for those not too picky about what happens. Both applications are now available in the Android Market and the App Store for free, but you’ll probably want to tap this source and links your NAS management software update to v3.3.0 before trying a fancy business. Video promo is over the break, when some encouragement.
